Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Directed by character actor Fred W. Huntley, this one-reel romance from the Selig Polyscope Company starred Harold Lockwood as Raymond Truxon, an archeologist whose excavations bring an Egyptian princess (Mabel Van Buren) back to life. The discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb in 1922 would inspire Hollywood for decades but almost always the emphasis would be on horror rather than wistful romance. In contrast, Through the Centuries was more H. Rider Haggard than Boris Karloff.
