Synopsis by Janiss Garza
The angry workers at a Pennsylvania oil company are ready to strike. One of their leaders is Jane Brett (Nance O'Neil), who has received very poor treatment by the firm's owners. John Jameson (Victor Sutherland), the son of the company's head (Herbert Fortier) comes to the oil fields, meets Jane, and falls in love with her. She wins him over to her side, while her co-workers believe that she has defected to management. A mob heads for the house where Jane and Jameson are hiding, and when the couple come out so that Jameson can make explanations, Jane is wounded. Jameson's courage compels the crowd to listen to him, and he assures them that their demands will be met. As a result the strikers go back to work and all is well.
