Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Filmmaker Brandon Assanti details the Ma'alot Massacre, one of the most heinous terrorist attacks in modern history, by traveling to Israel and speaking with the people who experienced it firsthand. On May 15, 1974, three Palestinian terrorists donned Israeli soldier gear, crossed the Lebanese border into Israel, and took over Netiv Meir elementary school, where a group of young students and their teachers were sleeping. Incredibly, many of the teachers fled, leaving their terrified young students behind. The terrorists' goal was to secure the release of their collaborators, who were being held by the State of Israel, by using the children as bargaining chips. With this film, director Assanti marks a crucial turning point in the history of modern terrorism while celebrating the lives of the brave young children who suffered unimaginable terror at the hands of their monstrous captors.
