The World's Best Prom documents the unusually passionate emotions surrounding the annual year-end school formal that grips the town of Racine, Wisconsin. The film focuses primarily on two very different girls as they discuss what teen life is like in Racine and as they prepare for a night with so much interest that local news stations offer live coverage of the various proms.
