Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Starring former stage actor Hobart Bosworth, this one-reel Western melodrama featured a white doctor saving the life of an Indian brave. As a reward, the doctor is offered the Indian's fiancée! Screen newcomer Harold Lockwood enacted the Indian brave, Betty Harte played the squaw, and the company also included George Hernandez, Anna Dodge, Camille Astor, Fred Huntley, and future Western star Art Acord. Produced by Hollywood's first permanent movie company, Nestor, The White Medicine Man was directed by Francis Boggs shortly before his sensational murder by a crazed studio employee.
