Synopsis by Brian Whitener
This early silent Finnish film demonstrates how advanced Finnish cinema was, on par with productions in America, France, and Italy. It's a simple tale told in masterful fashion. A country boy journeys to a young girl to marry. Along the way he has a series of adventures which are rendered beautifully by director Erkki Karu. The film stars popular actor Axel Slangus.
