Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Danish dancer Valkyrien, also known as the Baroness von Dewitz, was pretty much typecast in this picture. A pretty Danish girl who lives in the mountains is believed by her neighboring villagers to be a Valkyrie -- a goddess of war, banished to earth by Thor, and who causes trouble for those around her. Her aunt wants to marry her off to a rich but elderly nobleman (Ernest Howard), but she wants nothing to do with him. An American (Wayne Arey) fights a duel with the nobleman over the girl, and the old man is wounded. The American returns home, and the girl goes on to become a famous dancer. She comes to the U.S., where she finds out that the nobleman is planning to ruin her American protector by fixing a race that his horse is running. So she dresses up as a jockey and rides the horse herself to victory. She then sends the nobleman on his way by threatening to expose his dirty plan, and stays behind with her American suitor.
