Surfing legend Kelly Slater and friends pay a visit to Tahiti and the islands of French Polynesia, where they search for the perfect wave while comparing their philosophies of surfing with those of Tahitian wave-rider Raimana Van Bastolaer. From honing their surfing skills on shore to exploring the local marine life and learning how underwater mountains helped to form the scenic island chain, Slater and friends discover why surfing isn't merely a competitive sport, but a time-honored art-form as well. Later, after soaking in the island culture, the entire group senses that the perfect wave is on the way, and suit up for a session they won't soon forget.
