Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Autistic 25-year-old Luke (Lou Taylor Pucci) reluctantly emerges from the protective shell of his late grandmother's home, following his senile grandfather's advice to get a job and find a nice girl while living with the dysfunctional relatives who show no interest in helping him make a smooth transition into the real world. Co-starring Cary Elwes, Seth Green, and Kristin Bauer, The Story of Luke was inspired by the real-life experiences of writer/director Alonso Mayo, who previously depicted the plight of the autistic in his award-winning research documentary Just Like Anyone.
