Synopsis by Kathryn Tamms
The Pennsylvania Railroad reigned as the industry's leader for 125 years, and was thus proud to call itself the Standard Railroad of the World. Now, after years of sifting through the many documents, photos, and rare film footage that tell the life story of the "Mighty Pennsy," producer/director Bill Warrick has created a one of a kind railroad video biography. Steam, diesel, and electric trains -- even doodlebugs -- fill the screen as they arrive and depart from Penn Station and Washington Union. Horseshoe Curve, the Rockville Bridge, and the Enola Yards are featured, as well as the wreck of the Federal Express and many more events in the Pennsylvania Railroad's fascinating history.
