This Canadian documentary looks into the lives of Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany during their interment in "enemy alien" camps in Canada and England. Interviews with the surviving refugees detail life in the camps, and although the Jewish refugees were kept as virtual prisoners, they did not suffer mistreatment. The reality of the past was enhanced by conducting the interviews whenever possible on the site of the former camps themselves.
