Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith

President John F. Kennedy was perhaps one of America's most gifted leaders and speakers. His charm and intellect allowed him to draw audiences in with both clear reason and quiet humor. This video includes many of his most important speeches from his 1960 campaign for president, though most are just captured in fairly short clips. Once these speeches are reviewed, it becomes clear that Kennedy was one of the most talented public speakers of the 20th century. His mastery is perhaps best captured in his "New Frontier," "Ich bin ein Berliner," and his speech about America's determination to successfully fly to the moon. Though his life was cut painfully short by assassination, this video helps JFK's political greatness live on indefinitely.
