Synopsis by Janiss Garza

June Elvidge finds herself at the center of countless plot complications in this drama from World Pictures. Dolores Fernandez, an orphaned South American girl (Elvidge) plays violin and she makes her debut in, of all places, a New York cabaret. Her performance is not well-received since the patrons aren't exactly the types who appreciate classical music, and a riot ensues. Dolores is ordered to show up at court the next morning. On the way home, she finds a diamond bracelet, just lost by Mrs. Ridgeway (Lillian Lawrence). When she sees an item about the lost bracelet in the paper, Dolores begins to write a note to the editors, but she is taken ill and the doctor uses the slip of paper for the prescription. At court, while Dolores is testifying, the bracelet slips out of her purse and she is arrested for robbery. She is locked up for four months and when she gets out, Bruce Ridgeway (Allan Edwards) hears her violin playing and arranges a concert for her. They fall in love, but one of the girls Dolores met in jail tries to ruin the romance. Dolores is accused of stealing presents during the wedding of Bruce's sister, Madge (Winifred Leighton). Finally, everything is cleared up, and Dolores' innocence is established when her original note is discovered.
