Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Produced in the bleak the Downs, England, by minor company Broadwest, this typical programmer starred the company's leading lady Violet Hopson as a highborn lady forced by circumstances to marry a poacher (Trevor Bland). The latter, however, proves to be a millionaire in disguise and Diana quickly grows to love him. Slightly below Betty Balfour and Alma Taylor in popularity, the somewhat inanimate Miss Hopson was nevertheless one of Britain's mere handful of home-grown movie stars.
