Directly following the events of the original Slayers TV show, Lina the adventurer is back in action, along with her not-so-smart sidekick Gourry and their companions. All this tough girl wants is to rob the rich and spend the booty on food, but somehow she always gets roped into saving the world. While visiting a small town in search of a Clair Bible, Lina and Gourry stumble into a web of magical and political intrigue when they blow up the king's palace, inadvertently rescue a princess from being kidnapped, and get a fully animated golem released on them. A man who turns people to stone, a mysterious priest, and a city overrun with slimes? Sounds like business as usual for Lina and her bandits.
