Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Jane Colby (Blance Sweet) is the Girl Friday for Edward Royale (Thomas Meighan). She discovers that Royale's partner Harvey Wilson (George Herbert) is crooked and she exposes him. The partnership is dissolved, and later Royale marries Edith Preston (Mabel Van Buren), who is actually in love with Wilson. Edith, Wilson and David Pierce (Ernest Joy) plot Royale's downfall through a stock manipulation. But the ever-ready Jane comes through with ten thousand dollars she has somehow managed to save up on her secretary's income (keep in mind that secretaries were making less than 30 dollars a week in those days). The sum saves Royale, and he finally wakes up to the fact that Jane is the girl he should be with, not Edith. Director Marshall Neilan directed film-star Blanche Sweet in several pictures -- and eventually (albeit briefly) married her. This, unfortunately, wasn't one of their better collaborations.
