Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This ambitious British TV anthology began life as The Seven Deadly Sins on May 6, 1966. For the next seven weeks, the series offered original 60-minute plays, illustrating the pitfalls of Envy, Gluttony, Vanity, and the Like. The program returned on March 30, 1967 for another seven-week run, this one concentrating on the opposite end of the sin spectrum; accordingly, the series was retitled The Seven Virtues. By any name, the series was written by Peter Willes and produced by Associated Rediffusion.
