Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Kitty Gordon plays a vampy villain in this drama. Cora (Gordon) is a Spanish adventuress whose travels have taken her to Latin America. She meets George Reynolds (Irving Cummings) shortly after breaking off her affair with Valdez (Paul Doucet). Valdez wants to hold onto her and Reynolds winds up in a duel with him. Reynolds emerges victorious and takes Cora to the U.S., where he places her in very comfortable digs. Cora gets bored with him soon enough and becomes involved with one of his friends, Caryl Haskill (David Herblin). Reynolds becomes suspicious and has an argument with Cora. A gun is accidentally discharged, and she claims that he tried to kill her. He is sent to prison, and she goes off to New York, where she opens up a gambling hall. Haskill loses his fortune to her and drowns himself when she dumps him. After being released from prison, Reynolds marries a nice, young girl. Cora tries to ruin his life once again but fails. Like almost all bad girls of the 1910s, she comes to a tragic end -- she goes mad and is locked up in an asylum.
