The annual Tournament of Roses Parade, held on New Year's Day in Pasadena, CA, is an American tradition that is truly celebrated by the whole nation, as bands and performers from around the country perform and millions view the grand and colorful floats, all decorated with fresh flowers, on its yearly television broadcast. The Rose Parade: A Pageant for the Ages is a documentary which examines the past and present of this remarkable event, as well as offering a look at the hard work that goes into making the parade a reality. William Shatner and Stephanie Edwards serve as hosts and narrators.
