Using such popular Latin percussion instruments as congas, bongos, timbales, maracas, and the tambourine, Nuñez explains how the various instruments work together to form the basic rhythms of a salsa song. The program covers the rhythms for cha cha, son montuno, guaracha, and Latin rock.
