Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

This sophisticated 20-minute avant-garde short from Latvian filmmaker and documentarian Laila Pakalnina offers a challenging, subtly humorous look at a morning in miscellaneous small town as mail carrier delivers and picks up her mail. She moves along unpaved roads surrounded by nearly empty brick buildings populated by only a few old people and some dogs. She goes from home to home and every time, the residents will suddenly pop out to gather their mail. Sometimes a sound will be heard in one scene, but not be explained until the following scene. There is no climax to the film, it is just a day
