Synopsis
The classic 1950s Nat Hiken service sitcom about unrivaled Army con artist Sgt. Ernie Bilko, head of the motor pool at Fort Baxter in Kansas. Originally titled 'You'll Never Get Rich,' and later 'Sergeant Bilko' in syndication, it won three consecutive Emmys for Best Comedy Series and two Emmys for Silvers, and had early appearances by Dick Van Dyke, Alan Alda and Fred Gwynne. Top writers who worked on the show included Neil Simon, Arnie Rosen, Coleman Jacoby, Tony Webster and Leonard Stern.
