Despite being outnumbered, Jim Lester (Tom Tyler) chases off The Phantom's thugs and brings Mona Cortez (Dorothy Gulliver) safely back to the Blair ranch where Royce Macklin (Philo McCullough) has captured her father, Francisco (Frank Lanning). Confronting the three remaining conspirators, Macklin, Stewart (Dick Dickinson) and Drake (Kermit Maynard), Jim is about to force a confession from the latter when the Phantom strikes.
