Not to be confused with Andrew Lloyd Webber's stage musical, this video version of The Phantom of the Opera features David Staller in the title role and Elizabeth Walsh as Christine, the musical ingenue who gets caught in a complicated, dangerous relationship with the semi-sinister Phantom. Filmed before a live audience, this production offers a lighter, occasionally comedic take Gaston Leroux's 1911 novel.
