Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Wanda Hawley stars in this farce comedy based on the play All Night Long by Philip Bartholoae. Dorothy Ralston (Hawley) is a young wife whose love of bargains gets her in trouble. A beautiful silk shawl catches her eye. To get it, she gives the peddler a hated figurine in trade. She discovers that it is a rare Aztec idol worth thousands and tries to get it back. The peddler has sold it to Cambridge, an artist (Sidney Bracey). She sneaks into his apartment through the fire escape to retrieve the idol. There are curious goings on at the Cambridge residence -- the artist and his Japanese valet, Togo (Misao Seki), are practicing jujitsu, and Cambridge gets knocked out. When Togo goes for a doctor, Dorothy comes out of hiding and revives Cambridge, who mistakes her for the maid. He lets her have the idol in exchange for a kiss. Just then Togo returns with a doctor, who happens to be Dorothy's husband, Fred (Clyde Fillmore). Mrs. Cambridge (Rosita Marstini) shows up too, to complicate matters even further. Dorothy runs off with the idol, but eventually everything is straightened out.
