Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The Other Woman is Liz Cunningham (Katherine Helmond), a thirtyish librarian entangled in an affair with a married man (Joel Fabiani). When she becomes pregnant, Liz desperately wants to keep the baby. She insists upon this course of action despite the potential embarrassment for herself and her lover's family, and the likelihood of medical complications. Pat O'Brien plays the no-nonsense doctor who wrestles with Liz's mood swings. The Other Woman was originally telecast December 4, 1973, as an ABC's Matinee Today special.
