Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Even fifty years after the fact, director David Butler harbored fond memories of 1928's News Parade. Fearless cameraman "Newsreel Nick" (Nick Stuart) will do anything for a good story, even unto risking his neck. His current assignment is to get an exclusive film of camera-shy millionaire A.K. Weddington (Brandon Hurst). Nick trails Weddington and his pretty daughter Sally (Sally Phipps) all over the United States (courtesy of newsreel stock footage). All three protagonists end up in Cuba, where Nick rescues the girl and her dad from kidnappers. By the time the "End" title rolls around, Nick has not only gotten his cinematic scoop, but also Sally's love as a bonus.
