Synopsis by Dana Rowader

Opus Arte and the BBC present this performance of Franz Lehár's comic operetta The Merry Widow. Directed by Lotfi Mansouri, this production features Yvonne Kenny in the lead role and performances by Bo Skovhus, Gregory Turay, and Angelika Kirchschlager. The production also includes new dialogue from Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein and a new ballet segment during the "Chez Maxim" scene.
