Popular comedian Michael Hui Koon-man directs and stars in this wacky yarn about con man named Hui who claims he can read fortunes. Just before hard-bitten cop Yau (Leon Lai Ming) is about to bust him for fraud, Hui gets smacked in the head during a botched mugging. The injury rattles something loose in the guy's head, and soon Hui realizes that he actually has telepathic powers. Yau agrees not to bust him provided that Hui helps the police nab a major drug dealer. After a number of mishaps, including one unfortunate incident in a health club sauna, Yau and Hui manage to get their hands on the criminals financial records, only to find themselves targeted by the mob.
