Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In this classic episode, Wally Cox guest stars as Viv's cousin Harold, who has just landed a job as percussionist in a prestigious New York orchestra. Unfortunately, Harold suffers from acute stage fright, and the efforts made by Viv (Vivian Vance) and Lucy (Lucille Ball) to calm him down before his debut only make matters worse. Finally, Lucy resorts to hypnosis to allay Harold's fears--but when she is unable to awaken him from his spell, Lucy is forced to grab Harold's drumsticks and cymbals and take his place. That's Lucy Show director Jack Donohue playing the long-suffering symphony conductor.
