This program presents Lou Rawls in a scintillating collaboration with Duke Ellington. Rawls performs both jazz and rhythm & blues classics to the accompaniment of Ellington on piano. Songs include "Lady Love," "Satin Doll," and "Sophisticated Lady." The musicians are joined by gospel artist Freda Payne as they pay homage to their religious roots by performing "Oh Happy Day."
