Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

The friends of a paralyzed man who has fallen into a dangerous cycle of self-destruction attempt to confront him about his reckless behavior in this independent drama from first-time director Craig DiFolco. It's been one year since 30-year-old Dan (Michael Izquierdo) suffered a life-altering accident, and he's been confined to a wheelchair ever since. Dan's road to recovery has been a rocky one, and when he flees to his family's secluded, upstate-New York cabin, his friends begin to worry. Concerned that his drinking has spiraled out of control and determined support him when he needs it most, Dan's friends venture to the cabin on the last day of August in an attempt to summon him back home. The task won't be an easy one, however, and when Dan proves less than receptive to his friends' concerted effort to help, longtime relationships threaten to buckle under the weight of his staunch resistance.
