synopsis
Middle-aged professor Anzai is frustrated with his sexually repressed wife Ikuko. To communicate with her, he leaves his diary where she will find it. One night he has sex with her when she is asleep. They never discuss the event -- but Ikuko leaves her diary where Anzai will find it.
