Following the example of her friends Tom and Helen Willis (Franklin Cover, Roxie Roker), Louise (Isabel Sanford) wants to take a therapy course with a marriage counselor. But Louise's husband, George (Sherman Hemsley), convinced that his marriage is perfect as is, refuses to allow strangers to tamper with "perfection." This episode was later lampooned on the 1990s sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, with Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford reprising their roles as George and "Weezie."
