Synopsis by Hal Erickson
George and Louise Jefferson (Sherman Hemsley, Isabel Sanford) urge Ralph Hart (Ned Wertimer), their apartment building's doorman, to demand a raise from pinchpenny landlord Whittendale (Jack Fletcher). Alas, it may already be too late for any such negotiation. Whittendale announces that he is going to install an automatic door -- thereby rendering poor Ralph obsolete.
