Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Moses Gunn guest stars as Monk Davis, a childhood pal of dry-cleaning mogul George Jefferson (Sherman Hemsley). Paying a visit to the Jeffersons' lavish penthouse apartment, Monk is at first the picture of glad-handing friendliness. But that's before Monk gets down to business; he harbors a deep dark secret about George's past, and the price for his silence is exorbitant indeed. "George's Skeleton" first aired on February 22, 1975.
