synopsis
A lesser Vitagraph serial, The Iron test starred the studio's famous Latin Lover Antonio Moreno and genre queen Carol Holloway as circus acrobats battling yet another cloaked master criminal, "the Red Mask." Co-directed (with Paul Hurst) by Robert N. Bradbury, the father of B-Western star Bob Steele, The Iron test featured yet another future cowboy hero, Jack Hoxie, as one of the villain's henchmen. Hoxie was billed under his real name, Hartford Hoxie.
