Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

In chapter three of Universal's The Indians Are Coming, prospector George Woods (Francis Ford) is convinced to move into the nearby settlement of Gold Creek after being attacked by a band of warring Indians. Meanwhile, back in Hillsdale, Jack Manning is released from jail due to a lack of evidence and rides hell bent for leather in order to catch up with the wagon train carrying George's brother, Tom (also Ford), and his daughter, Mary (Allene Ray). But will the hero reach the train in time to rescue Mary from a prairie fire started by a careless Rance Carter (Wilbur McGaugh)?
