Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The Idolators illustrated for the umpteenth time that the Wages of Sin are if not Death, then certainly a lot more trouble than they're worth. Celebrated movie "vamp" Louise Glaum stars as Viola Strathmore, a predatory female who seemingly has a complete wardrobe for every new sin. Viola is instrumental in the ruination of one Curtis de Forest Ralston (George Webb), leaving the more virtuous secondary heroine Anita Carew (Dorcas Mathews) in the lurch. Ultimately, the villainous Viola is trapped in her own web of vanity and deceit. No surprises here, but fans of Louise Glaum liked nothing more than to watch the woman come a-cropper after destroying everyone else in her path.
