A frustrated exterminator and his sarcastic best friend have seven days to pay back $10,000 to a local crime boss, and turn to the church to raise some quick cash after being mistaken for the new pastors. Freddie Manning (Al Shearer) is no stranger to the hustle. But when life throws him one too many curveballs, the time comes to start thinking big. With his pal Junior (Charlie Murphy) as his partner-in-crime, Freddie robs a local liquor store but loses the money while fleeing through the city. Later, Freddie and Junior realize the cash belonged to ruthless crime boss Toshiba Ohara. Now, unless the bumbling thieves can raise $10,000 in just one week, Toshiba and his daughter Han will make examples of them. Just when it starts to seem as if Freddie and Junior have run out of luck, however, they take a call from a roach-infested church and hatch an ingenious plan: disguise themselves as the new pastors, and con their way into the congregation's pocketbooks. It all works like a charm until Freddie learns he's got the healing touch, and a simple hustle leads to a life-altering experience.
