Hollywood Squares (1966)

Synopsis
A classic varation on tic-tac-toe in which celebrities field trivia questions and play on a nine-square board. Contestants must decide whether the celeb answers are correct, but the appeal of this durable game (which has been revived, in daytime and prime time, several times) has less to do with Xs and Os than the laughs generated from the 'squares.' At the start of its run in the '60s, they included Wally Cox, Rose Marie, George Gobel, Charley Weaver and, most unforgettably, Paul Lynde.
