Even though people age, the need for love does not disappear, as is indicated in The Heart Has No Wrinkles. The idea that the elderly can have a sexually active lifestyle is a bit disturbing to some, who feel it is inappropriate for that age group. When it is encountered, it can be the subject of ridicule, due to misunderstanding and a lack of information. This program looks at the growing relationship between May and Derek, who live in a nursing care facility. When a nurse finds them displaying affection, she makes fun of them, but in time, she respects their right to privacy.
