In this companion to Dr. Harvey Karp's popular series of books, parents are taught how to curb their toddler's temper tantrums through a new method of communication known as "Toddler-ese." In addition to his claim that this method will both shorten and diminish a child's outbursts, Dr. Karp also claims that by practicing both "Toddler-ese" and the "Fast Food" rule, parents can boost their children's self esteem and make them more patient and respectful.
