Dorothy's ex-husband, Stan (Herb Edelman), shows up, ostensibly to deal with a piece of property that he and Dorothy (Bea Arthur) purchased during their honeymoon. One thing leads to another, and Dorothy and Stan end up in bed together for the first time since their bitter divorce. Turns out, however, that there's a motivation behind Stan's sudden rekindling of old passions; his young wife, Chrissy (Simone Griffeth), has left him. Meanwhile, Rose (Betty White) and Blanche (Rue McClanahan) are in hot water for planning a vacation without Sophia (Estelle Getty).
