The Giddy Game Show was just that -- and it was an animated cartoon to boot. The main characters were Giddy, a green space alien; Gus, a stupid gorilla; and the Professor. An early attempt at interactive television, the series found the three protagonists quizzing the kids at home on a variety of topics, with Giddy indicating the correct answers with a pointer. The Giddy Game Show was broadcast by Britain's ITV in 1985.
