Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The cast and production credits of the Dal Clawson production The Garden of Knowledge have been lost to the ages. What is known is that the film propounded the theory of eugenics, which prophesied a "perfect" race of humans brought about by cross-breeding geniuses with athletes. The key to the success of Eugenics was the elimination of all pessimistic tendencies in the human souls. To illustrate this theory, a dramatized story was offered, showing the consequences of marrying a man with "depressive" thoughts. Apparently, the producer equated depression with impurity, suggesting that the perfect Eugenic experiment was devoid of all sinful notions. Also apparently, The Garden of Knowledge featured several nude "specimens" of the Ideal Person, both male and female.
