synopsis
Angling for an "Easy A", Will (Will Smith) suggests that Bel-Air academy begin offering a Black History class. Much to his surprise, the class is taught by his own Aunt Vivian (Janet Hubert-Whitten), a brilliant historian who has probably forgotten more about African-American culture than Will will ever learn! Though Aunt Viv's class is tough and demanding, she proves so popular with the students that she is invited to become a permanent faculty member--and Will is definitely NOT happy about this turn of events.
