Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Patrice O' Neill's documentary The Fire Next Time explores the lives of citizens in Kalispell, Montana. As the town sees a very quick growth, the locals react in a variety of different ways to the situation. The filmmakers record both the good and bad actions and attitudes of the people ranging from anti-environmentalists, to a Native America family confronting harsh racism, to a former police officer who works to bridge together members of the community.
