Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In this ABC reality series, ten members of an Italian-American blue-collar family were invited to live in the luxury of a mansion in West Palm Beach, FL. Whoever was still living in the house at the end of the series won a grand prize of one million dollars. Determining who would be allowed to stay and who would be asked to leave were a group of "trustees," actually the mansion's staff of servants, who based their assessment on the behavior (good, bad, polite, boorish) of the contestants. So it went until there were two family members remaining, of whom only one would emerge triumphant. Hosted by George Hamilton, The Family debuted March 4, 2003.
