Synopsis by Mark Deming

A man in a mental ward finds himself walking a line between dreams and reality in this independent thriller. Max (Devere Jehl) is a patient in a Maryland psychiatric hospital who has been having a deeply disturbing recurring dream. In his dream, Max sees from the perspective of a young boy (Nathan Taylor) who is being kidnapped and tortured along with his sister (Sophie Radoci) by a pair of vicious thugs (Tony Tsendeas and Shelley McPherson). Max is convinced he is not insane; instead, he has a psychic connection with the children, and his dreams are in fact a warning of future events only he can stop. However, Max's psychiatrist (Kimberly Fairbanks) doesn't put much stock in this notion, and the only person who believes him is Maddie (Sabrina Gennarino), a fellow patient with a ravenous sexual appetite for Max and some curious notions about the telephone system.
